Face and Body Waxing is the quickest and easiest way to get started in the beauty industry. Students will learn how to efficiently provide temporary hair removal with our comprehensive and highly recognised waxing training course. You may be awarded with a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of training and assessment. It would be a bonus point for a rewarding career working in a salon or in your own home business. Throughout this course we train students how to perform industry wax procedures on both men and women. All of MIA waxing training sessions are delivered by highly professional beauty therapists. MIA provides the best quality wax and after-care products for the waxing training course. Students will learn how to create a silky-smooth finish after waxing services to customers.

There are no prerequisite, entry, work-placement, licensing or certification requirements for this course.

Cancellation of registered session:

MIA would try our best to rearrange your registered waxing training course to our registered students. However, we are unable to refund monies for students who do not turn up for their registered waxing classes. Changes to class times are allowed, but the request must be done prior to 5 working days of the class commencing. Please contact MIA staff to change your session at least 5 working days prior to commencing your registered waxing training course.

Resources that will be available for this course:

  • cleaning and disinfection products

  • disposable wax applicators, sheeting and strips

  • hot and strip wax, pre and aftercare products from a comprehensive professional range

  • temperature controlled wax pots

  • tweezers

  • personal protective equipment: disposable gloves, aprons

  • treatment towels or linen, or disposable linen.
