Study Outcome
After achieving BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business, individuals could progress to higher education qualifications in business administration sector, for example, Diploma of Business Administration. This qualification provides a pathway to work in administrative work contexts based on their learned skills and knowledge, job roles may include but not limited to:
- Office administration
- General administration
- Personal Assistant
- Receptionist
Assessment Methods
A variety of assessment methods will be used to assess your knowledge and skills. Your trainer will explain these in detail before any assessment takes place. Assessment methods may include but not limited to:

Delivery Methods
Classroom
The delivery is classroom based, face-to-face, so that students can complete in-class activities including: presentations, practice exercises and discussions. Students will be provided with textbooks and workbooks to support the learning. Delivery has been timetabled to ensure you can develop the theoretical skills and knowledge and have the opportunity to develop practical skills in a simulated situation. Individual learning includes: work/home-study, the completion of assignments and Individual reading and research.

BSBSUS401 Implement and monitor environmentally sustainable work practices
BSBWRT401 Write complex documents
On successful completion of the program, learners will be awarded with BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business.
Entry Requirements
- MIA will conduct a pre-confirmation of enrolment, LLN assessment with applicants to ensure their suitability, to undertake and successfully complete the course.
- Minimum requirement is completion of year 12 Australian secondary schooling or equivalent
Recognition
An application can be made for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) when the student believes that they have already attained the necessary skills and competencies elsewhere (work, other study etc.) or have an equivalent qualification or part of a qualification. MIA recognises the AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by any other RTOs and grants credit for these towards an award where applicable.
The application for RPL and/or Credit Transfer should be lodged prior to or immediately after the enrolment.
